Welcome to MLC! ¡Bienvenidos a MLC!

The Multicultural Learning Center (MLC) is a K-8 public charter school in Canoga Park, California.

At the Multicultural Learning Center students demonstrate positive cross-cultural attitudes and high levels of self-esteem through MLC’s dual language program in which students become bilingual and biliterate in Spanish and English. At MLC, children create meaning and come to know and respect each other through group interaction, research and questioning, and use of the arts as tools for developing literacy and multicultural understanding. In a student-centered classroom, skills and knowledge in social studies, language arts, math, science, and the visual and performing arts are gained within the context of rich interdisciplinary themes and hands-on activities. MLC’s leaders and staff partner with parents and community members to bring our vision to life every single day.
